Introduction
Puppy Rayn is the adorable wolf pup from the series of the same name. Back in 2013, series creator, Kevin Conner, asked a number of artists to try their hand at drawing the titular character, and my attempt got me chosen to be the main artist of the series! Although it hasn't seen much activity at the time of writing this, there were a lot of art assets that I completed, including comic strips and even the artwork on the official website, Puppy Rayn.
Design Objective
As a children's comic, Kevin Conner and I wanted the website to reflect this and take on a children's aesthetic. Using lots of colors and images, we got to work on making a fun looking website for children to use which would also include all the comics, activities, and games!

NOTE: For this particular project, Kevin Conner was the owner and already had a general idea of how he wanted everything to look.
Creating the Artwork
While Kevin Conner had an idea of how he wanted to website to look, I was in charge of creating new art assets. That's not to say that I didn't have any input, but above is some new art that I had to make for the navigation buttons.
The Official Website
I did most of the art, including the comic strips, on this website. I had a blast working on Puppy Rayn, and perhaps you will too if you give it a read over in the comic strip archive! Yes, even comics utilize User Experience - everything from the flow of the reader's eye to how dynamic an image should look!
